Our contribution

"If everyone only thinks about themselves, everyone is certainly thinking, but nobody is thinking about everyone."

 Georg-Wilhelm Exler, Philosoph

WFL and its employees are involved in charity sports events, blood donation initiatives, the Movember campaign and much more. Even though charitable organisations require a variety of tasks to be performed, such as gardening work at the retirement home in Wels, WFL employees are always keen to lend a hand. And even in their leisure time, committed WFL team members can be found in the voluntary fire service, with the Red Cross or as part of private relief actions.

Valuable blood donations and saving lives!

Regular and voluntary blood donations are extremely important and highly necessary, which is why WFL regularly arranges opportunities for staff members to give blood during working hours. Through the blood donation initiative, WFL is helping to safeguard the health of fellow human beings and saving lives.

Movember action days

WFL employees and moustaches! The moustache draws attention to the importance of medical check-ups and screening for men. But Movember is also a community and foundation, which raises money for good causes, such as mental health support and suicide prevention as well as to fight prostate cancer and testicular cancer.

More than 600 euros: WFL team rowed for the "butterfly children"

The WFL rowing club covered an unbelievable 60,428 metres for the patient support organisation "DEBRA Austria – Helping children living with epidermolysis bullosa". A certain amount of money was credited to the donation account for every metre covered. It served as a powerful demonstration of solidarity from dedicated colleagues!

We are happy to help!

Miteinander GmbH has now been running important, charitable institutions for more than 40 years. It all began as a club founded by the parents of children with disabilities. The organisation currently provides a range of different services for children with disabilities and older people in Upper Austria, with a focus on helping people enjoy a life of self-sufficiency and community integration as far as possible.
WFL has been supporting this great institution since 2012 by donations in-kind, such as laptops or office equipment. This year, we were again able to support a special project: in the summer, we provided office furniture for the Wels and Schärding sites, making it possible to create six new jobs for young people in training.
We are delighted to be involved here and wish them all a great start to their new careers.
