WFL to Showcase the M35-G MILLTURN Live at CIIE

WFL will be exhibiting at CIIE, where visitors will have the opportunity to experience the M35-G MILLTURN live on site. The multifunctional machining center demonstrates WFL’s expertise in complete machining and combines high precision, flexibility and efficiency in a single machine. At the exhibition, WFL experts will present the capabilities of the M35-G and provide insights into its potential applications for demanding manufacturing processes. Visitors are invited to meet the WFL team and discover the machine live in operation.

With the M30/M35 MILLTURN, WFL presents a highly versatile machining solution for the complete machining of complex shaft and chuck parts with a swing diameter of up to 520 mm and working lengths of up to 2000 mm. Based on a modular machine concept, the MILLTURN can be configured to meet customer-specific manufacturing requirements. Its solid slant bed, made from grey cast iron, provides a stable foundation for precise and reliable machining.

The M30/M35 MILLTURN combines the functionality of a turning machine, a 5-axis turning, boring and milling center, and a gear hobbing or deep-hole drilling machine in a single platform. Detailed improvements to the design of various machine components further enhance reliability and facilitate daily operation. In the counter-spindle variants, the M30-G and M35-G MILLTURN also offer 4-axis turning, workpiece transfer and six-sided machining.

The machines are designed for maximum productivity and ease of use. Improved access to the extendable hydraulics unit, the separate cooling unit, the newly designed guide rail covers and the tool magazine simplifies maintenance and reduces service times. Minimal distances between the machining point and the guideways contribute to high rigidity and precision.

The M30 and M35 MILLTURN are also ideally equipped for gear cutting operations with the Flanx Software package. Process monitoring with WFL iControl helps reduce tool costs, increase productivity and improve workpiece quality. The system displays current axis loads, protects the machine against damage and offers a learning mode for reliable process control.

Additional features include larger screens integrated into the machine housing, providing an optimum view of the working area, as well as LED lamps integrated into the work area for bright, durable and user-friendly lighting. NC programs can be created efficiently with the graphically interactive MILLTURN PRO programming editor.

Innovative rotor scanning methods enable the early detection of errors, helping to ensure maximum precision and safety while minimizing unplanned downtimes. With its combination of turning, milling, boring, gear cutting and drilling capabilities, the M30/M35 MILLTURN provides manufacturers with a flexible and reliable solution for demanding complete-machining applications.

WFL looks forward to welcoming visitors at CIIE and presenting the M35-G live in operation – booth 3B6-01.
